He Kept Saying haShem: When God Marks You With His Name
I didn’t ask for it.
I wasn’t searching for anything profound.
But He kept saying it.
Over and over again.
Whispered into my spirit. Woven into the stillness—well, the dishes, actually.
haShem.
The Name.
At first I didn’t know why.
Why that word?
I didn’t know what it meant… once I looked it up, I thought,
Why not Yahweh or Elohim or Adonai?
Maybe because I know those names?
Why haShem—the reverent way Jewish people say “The Name” without saying the Name?
But He kept saying it.
And just listened. He revealed.
The Marking of the Name
As the days passed, I began to feel something shift.
Not externally—but deep within.
His name was everywhere I went.
It was like He was pressing something into me—
Not a command, not a mission—but identity.
He wasn’t reminding me about Him.
He was marking me with Him.
haShem.
The Name that creates. The Name that saves. The Name that speaks.
The Name that does it all. Everything.
And then I saw it—
In Psalm 33.
In John 1.
In the whispers of the prophets who longed to know the Spirit of Messiah within them (1 Peter 1:11).
The Word was Yahushua.
And Yahushua is haShem.
The Word, the Name, the Calling
It wasn’t just a moment.
It was a sealing.
He was placing His Name on my life—not just for comfort, but for calling.
Not just to whisper it, but to carry it.
“And they shall see His face, and His Name shall be upon their foreheads.”
(Revelation 22:4)
I began to realize…
I wasn’t just being comforted.
I was being set apart.
Marked for something holy.
Marked to speak of the Word.
To declare the Name.
To help others see Yahushua—not just in the gospels, but in every Word He ever breathed.
This is what it’s like everyday to walk with God. Next week it will be something else revealed, because He is faithful to those who love Him, and He loves to share with us and guide us. So start. Be stirred. Begin.
Selah
If you’ve ever heard Him whisper a word on repeat—
Don’t rush past it.
Don’t explain it away.
Stop. Listen. Ask Him what it means.
It might be His way of breathing new life in to you with something eternal.
A Name you were always meant to carry.
Baruch haShem Yahushua
Blessed be the Name of Yahushua—our salvation, our King, our Word, our covering. Amen + Amen!
