An introduction | The Word Was Yahushua: Discovering the Messiah in All 673 Mentions of the Word
Psalm 33: The Word Who Was Always There
The discovery that changed how I read the Bible—and saw Yahushua.
I opened Psalm 34, and glanced at Psalm 33, and everything changed.
I wasn’t looking for something new—I was reflecting on something Yahweh brought me to earlier in the week, I was just reading. Praying. Praising. But suddenly, the verses began to burn. Not just with poetry, but with presence. I read:
“By the Word of YHWH the heavens were made…” —Psalm 33:6, ISR
And I paused.
“For He spoke, and it came to be; He commanded, and it stood fast.”
Psalm 33:9, ISR
The Word?
It was Him.
Not a metaphor. Not a voice.
A Person. In the Psalm. In the beginning.
“For Yahushua spoke, and it came to be; He commanded, and it stood fast.”
The Word! The King! The Creator! All creation bent to His will!
The One who was and is and is to come.
The One who was with Elohim in the beginning.
The One who was Elohim.
The One who became flesh—Yahushua.
“The Word! The King! The Creator!
All creation bent to His will!”
“For Yahushua spoke, and it came to be;
He commanded, and it stood fast.”
The Word! The King! The Creator!
All creation bent to His will—because it knew His voice.
The sea didn’t hesitate.
The stars didn’t ask questions.
The mountains didn’t resist.
Because the One who spoke was not just a voice—He was everything.
And now… that same Word speaks to us.
Not to form galaxies,
But to form hearts.
To make us new.
To call us out of darkness and into His marvelous light.
The Word Was Always Yahushua—Even in the Old Testament
Psalm 33 isn’t just a psalm—it’s a doorway.
At age 33, Yahushua offered Himself for us.
And here, in Psalm 33, we see the age of the Lamb, the power of the Creator, and the eternity of the Word… all in one place.
This was the spark.
This was the revelation.
This was when David possibly understood everything.
The Word who made the heavens
The Spirit who hovered over the waters
The Lamb who would offer Himself at age 33
And it led me to wonder…
What if every time the Scriptures say “word”… they are whispering His Name?
What if the 673 mentions of “word” are not just ink—but echoes of the Messiah, the Living Word?
A Journey to Find Him in Every Word
That question birthed a holy pursuit.
I began searching the Bible for every mention of “word”—from Genesis to Revelation.
I began inserting His name—Yahushua—to see if it fit.
And oh, it did. Over and over again.
Like a hidden thread… a buried treasure… a groom waiting quietly behind the veil.
This series was born from that awe.
It’s called: The Word Was Yahushua.
Because He was.
Because He is.
Because He always will be.
Introducing the Blog Series: The Word Was Yahushua
This realization launched a study I couldn’t keep to myself.
I created a full Scripture project titled:
The Word Was Yahushua: Discovering the Messiah in All 673 Mentions of the Word
Each post in the series explores 10–20 verses where “word” is used in the Bible—
We replace that word with Yahushua,
Reflect on the truth that emerges,
And offer Scripture-based insight, prayer, and application.
You’ll see Him:
In Creation
In the Wilderness
In Prophecy
In Healing
In Judgment
In Mercy
And in Glory
Because the Word of God is not just a teaching—He is a Person.
And His Name is Yahushua.
Prayer
YHWH, open our eyes to Your Living Word. Let us not skim over the truth of Psalm 33, but stop—and worship. Thank You for Yahushua, the Word who was with You in the beginning. May this journey through Scripture draw us deeper into awe, repentance, and love. Amein.

Share this post with someone today and ask:
“Have you ever seen Psalm 33 as a prophecy about Yahushua?”
It might change how they see the Bible forever. It may open the door to share how the Word is not just ancient truth—but the Living King who still speaks today.
