The Name Nailed to the Cross

The Name Nailed to the Cross
He was stripped, beaten, mocked.
Crowned with thorns like a curse,
pierced through like a serpent lifted in the wilderness,
and nailed—not only to a tree,
but to every prophecy ever spoken.
And above Him…
A sign.
Simple, wooden, Roman.
But in the language of Heaven, it screamed.
"Yahushua HaNotzri V’Melech HaYehudim."
(Jesus the Nazarene and King of the Jews)
A phrase Pilate thought was political.
But what it really said—what it spelled in Hebrew—
was nothing short of divine thunder:
Yod – Heh – Vav – Heh
יהוה
The Name.
The Covenant Name.
The Name no man dared speak aloud.
The Name spoken from the burning bush.
The Name that split seas, shook mountains, and raised dead things to life.
The Name of Yahweh, nailed to a cross.
And they knew.
Oh, the chief priests knew.
That’s why they raced to Pilate, trembling and enraged:
“Don’t write that! Say He claimed to be King of the Jews!”
(John 19:21)
But Pilate—caught up in a will not his own—replied,
“What I have written, I have written.”
(John 19:22)
Because the sovereign hand of YHWH guided that pen.
The Lamb didn’t just bleed.
He bore the Name.
The crowd thought they were watching a man die.
Rome thought they were silencing a revolutionary.
The priests thought they were defending holiness.
But Heaven knew.
This was the altar.
This was the sealing of the Covenant.
This was the moment the Name of the Father was joined with the blood of the Son.
So when the spear pierced His side and blood and water gushed out,
a covenant was sealed—not with ink, but with agony.
A covenant that said:
“You are Mine.”
Forever.
And You Still Think This Was Just a Roman Execution?
No.
This was the Word made flesh,
poured out for the ones who spit in His face; His own children—the ones that were made through Him!
THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD!
This was the spotless Lamb,
carrying the sins of the priests who crucified Him.
This was Yahushua,
with the Name of His Father branded above Him,
declaring once and for all—
This is My Son, in whom My Name dwells.
Selah.
Let it ache.
Let it burn.
“Christ on the Cross” (1627) by Francisco de Zurbarán is one of the rare portrayals of Yahushua’s crucifixion that carries a weight of reverence rather than spectacle. I typically avoid such images, as many dwell on His suffering while neglecting the deeper truth—that His death was not defeat, but the sealing of a one-time, eternal covenant. Most depictions stop short of the resurrection, which the enemy would rather you forget. But this image… this one points to a Lamb willingly offered, not a victim abandoned—but rather, a Light in the darkness that has never, and will never be defeated.
All honor to Yah—the King of Kings lives!
Tell someone today:
“The Name of Yahweh was written above Him. The covenant was sealed in His blood.
And He will return—not to be crucified again, but to reign.”
Declaration
I declare, in the Name of Yahushua:
That I will not remain silent while the world slanders my King.
I will not defend the ones Yahweh has declared under judgment.
I will not bow to false peace, false religion, or false alliances.
I stand with the Lamb.
I believe He is the only begotten Son of Yahweh,
the One they pierced, the Messiah,
the One who bears the Name above every name.
And I will not be ashamed of His blood.
Let the nations rage. Let the religious tremble.
Let the earth be shaken.
But I will stand.
Yahushua is King.
Who one day with Yahweh will judge.
And the cross was not the end.
It was the beginning of victory.
And may Yahweh have mercy on your soul if you don’t have eyes to see it.
Amen ➕ Amen.
