Prayer: When I Feel Too Harsh and Just Want to Love Like You

Prayer: When I Feel Too Harsh and Just Want to Love Like You

Yahushua,
I don’t want to hurt anyone with my words.
I don’t want to burn so hot that I scorch the ones still waking up.
And I don’t want my passion to become poison in someone else's ears.

You are the Lion.
But You are also the Lamb.
You are the Truth.
But You are also Love.

Teach me how to carry both.

When my heart is sharp with truth,
Wrap it in Your gentleness.
When my tone is tired,
Let it be redeemed by Your kindness.
When I’ve had enough—
Give me the strength to pause, breathe, and speak only what You would speak.

I don’t want to disappoint You, Yahushua.
I don’t want my fire to misrepresent Your heart.
So let my words be led by the Ruach,
Not by my wounds.
Let my passion flow from purity,
Not from pain.
Let my strength be clothed in compassion,
And my boldness anchored in mercy.

Forgive me if I’ve spoken too fast, too sharp, or too much.
Heal what my words couldn’t.
Soften the places I’ve hardened in fear.
And teach me, even now, how to love like You.

You were never afraid to speak truth.
But You never forgot how to touch the leper.
Let me walk in that same love.
Let me reflect You.

In Your holy, beautiful, patient Name—
Amein.
