Prayer for Wisdom and Discernment
Heavenly Father,
I come before You with a humble heart, seeking Your wisdom and discernment. Your Word tells me that You give freely to those who ask, so I ask You now for the ability to clearly discern Your voice and the leading of Your Holy Spirit.
“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.”
— James 1:5
Lord, I know that Your voice is one of peace and truth, and that the enemy comes only to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). I pray that You help me recognize the difference between Your voice and any deceptive influences.
May my heart always be tuned to Your will, and may I not be led astray by confusion or fear.

“Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.”
— 1 John 4:1
Holy Spirit, I ask that You guide me in all truth. Help me to discern the spirits, so I can recognize Your presence and leading. Give me the spiritual sensitivity to reject anything that is not from You and the strength to follow Your path, even in moments of uncertainty.

“Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, ‘This is the way; walk in it.’”

Father, I pray for clarity and wisdom in every decision and situation. Help me test all thoughts, words, and promptings to see if they align with Your truth. May I always hold fast to Your Word as the foundation of my discernment, and may Your peace guard my heart and mind from any deception.

In all things, may Your will be done in my life, and may I always seek to walk in the light of Your truth, rejecting any and all darkness that seeks to lead me astray.
