Prayer For The Lost And Grieving
A Prayer | Psalm 34; 13
Heavenly Father,
You are the God of all comfort, the One who sees every tear and knows every sorrow. You are also the Good Shepherd who seeks the lost, desiring that none should perish but that all should come to repentance.
Lord, today I bring before You those who are grieving—the ones who have lost family, friends, or even those they barely knew, yet their hearts ache for them. You know their pain, their questions, and the silent cries of their hearts. Wrap them in Your presence, reminding them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save the crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
Father, I also lift up those who are lost—those who have wandered from You or have never known the saving grace of Jesus Christ. You alone can soften hearts, open blind eyes, and call them into Your marvelous light. Lord, in Your mercy, draw them to Yourself. Let them hear Your voice calling them home. Soften their hearts to receive Your truth and break every chain that keeps them from knowing You.
I trust that You are sovereign, that Your timing is perfect, and that You hear every prayer lifted in faith. Let Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in salvation and restoration. Give me peace to trust in Your unfailing love, knowing that You are always at work, even when I cannot see it.
In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray,
Amen➕Amen.
