By His Stripes: Isaiah 53 and the Suffering Servant

During our first Passover, one verse stopped us in our tracks: “By His stripes we are healed.” We had read Isaiah 53 many times before, but this time we slowed down and examined every word. What does it mean that He was pierced for our transgressions, crushed for our crookednesses, and chastised for our peace? In this study, we explore the deeper meaning of Isaiah 53:5 and discover that Yahushua came not only to forgive sinners—but to restore everything sin has broken.
