Many of us long to see our loved ones grow deeper in faith, but spiritual growth is ultimately the work of YHWH. If your husband is still on "milk" and hasn’t yet developed a hunger for deeper spiritual truths, don’t lose heart. Prayer is powerful, and Scripture gives us the perfect words to pray over him.

You are the God of all comfort, the One who sees every tear and knows every sorrow. You are also the Good Shepherd who seeks the lost, desiring that none should perish but that all should come to repentance.

You are the Source of all wisdom, and we come before You, recognizing that we can do nothing apart from You. As it is written, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives generously to all without reproach" (James 1:5). We come with open hearts, asking You for the wisdom that comes from above—pure, peaceable, gentle, and full of mercy (James 3:17).

A prayer for hearing God’s voice and being guided by the Holy Spirit. Trust His direction, discern His will, and walk in peace through Scripture and prayer.

This prayer for strengthening faith echoes the father’s cry in Mark 9:24: “I believe; help my unbelief.” Be encouraged to trust God’s promises even in doubt.
