Prayer for Our Loved Ones to the Glory of God and the Truth of Our Messiah

A Prayer

Introduction:

Prayer for Our Loved Ones to the Glory of God and the Truth of Our Messiah

Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our loved ones with hearts full of love, hope, and gratitude. We acknowledge that You are the One True God, and that all glory, honor, and praise belong to You alone. We thank You for sending Your Son, our Messiah, Yahushua, to save us, to lead us in truth, and to bring us into the fullness of Your love and grace.

Adonai, we pray for the well-being of our family, friends, and all those dear to us. We ask that Your hand of protection be upon them, covering them with Your love and keeping them safe from harm. May they know Your presence, Your peace, and Your guidance in every step they take.

We pray for their hearts to be open to the truth of Your Word, Adonai Yahushua. Let the light of the gospel shine in their lives, bringing them closer to You, the source of all life, hope, and healing. May they experience the power of Your love and truth, and may they be drawn to You with every moment.

Father, we ask that You bless them with wisdom, understanding, and discernment.Give them eyes to see, ears to hear, and feet to carry the Good News of the Gospel!

May they seek Your will in every decision they make, and may their lives be a reflection of Your goodness and grace. Bring healing to any areas of brokenness in their lives and restore them with the power of Your Truth.

We pray that our loved ones would come to know You more deeply, that they would encounter You in a personal and intimate way. May they walk in the light of Your truth, and may their lives testify to the greatness of Your salvation and the truth of Yahushua.

We commit them to You, knowing that You are faithful to hear our prayers and to answer according to Your perfect will. May all that we do, and all that they do, bring glory to Your name and reflect the truth of who You are as our Savior, our Adonai, and our Messiah.

In the mighty and precious name of Yahushua!
Amen+Amen!

Prayer Breakdown:

I don’t always breakdown the prayers I write I’m guessing Elohim wanted me to because someone might need it, or it was just a personal teaching (for me) on obedience, lol, either way, the point being I don’t always do this. Unless, of course it’s something people overwhelmingly prefer and then I will devote more time to it. I don’t mind, I just don’t know it people find my process useful or not… {Feedback is most welcome}

The prayer above is rooted in several powerful Scriptural truths. We are reminded through God’s Word that when we pray using His Word—when we return it back to Him—it will never come back empty.

"So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it."

—Isaiah 55:11

This verse declares that God's Word is not passive. It is living, active, and always accomplishes what He sends it forth to do. When we pray, we are not tossing words into the void—we are aligning with His will, and His will is never in vain.

That means: God always answers our prayers.
But He answers according to His purpose, not ours.
We must pray as Yahushua did: “Not my will, but Yours be done.”

Even when we feel forgotten or unseen—when our prayers seem unanswered or unacknowledged—Yahushua understands. He experienced this deeply in the Garden of Gethsemane, just before His suffering and crucifixion:

“fell with his face to the ground and prayed, 'My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will,”

—Matthew 26:39

He cried out to the Father knowing full well that all things were in His power—yet He chose surrender. Not because it was easy, but because the greater glory was found in obedience. The Son submitted to the Father’s will, even unto death. So who are we to expect any other path?

Even demons know who Yahushua is—but here’s the difference: they do not treasure His glory.

Pause on that for a moment.
They see Him. They know exactly who He is.
And they still choose sin.

They prefer lies. They cling to rebellion. They hate the light—because their deeds are evil.

“And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil.”

—John 3:19

It’s not about belief alone. It’s about allegiance. And we are never neutral. We either serve Yahweh—or we serve evil. There is no third way.

Yahushua made it plain:

"The student is not above the teacher, nor a servant above his master,"

—Matthew 10:24.

If our Savior walked the path of obedience, why would we expect to escape it?

I wrote this prayer in a moment of wrestling—with the sovereignty of God, with the pull between good and evil, and with the weight of Yahushua’s perfect submission. May it bless you as it did me. Below are the Scriptures I referenced and meditated on during that time.

All Glory to God!

  1. Acknowledging God as the One True God and giving glory to Him:

    • Isaiah 45:5: "I am the Lord, and there is no other; apart from me there is no God. I will strengthen you, though you have not acknowledged me."

    • Revelation 4:11: "You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being."

  2. Thanking God for sending Yahushua, the Messiah, to save us:

    • John 3:16: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

    • 1 John 4:9-10: "This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins."

  3. Praying for protection and guidance for loved ones:

    • Psalm 91:11: "For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways."

    • Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."

  4. Praying for open hearts to the truth of God's Word:

    • John 8:32: "Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

    • Ephesians 1:17-18: "I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you."

  5. Praying for wisdom, understanding, and discernment:

    • James 1:5: "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."

    • Proverbs 2:6: "For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding."

  6. Praying for healing and restoration:

    • Psalm 147:3: "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."

    • Isaiah 53:5: "But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds, we are healed."

  7. Praying for a deeper relationship with God and walking in the light of truth:

    • Jeremiah 24:7: "I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the Lord. They will be my people, and I will be their God, for they will return to me with all their heart."

    • 1 John 1:7: "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin."

  8. Praying for all actions to bring glory to God's name:

    • 1 Corinthians 10:31: "So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God."

    • Matthew 5:16: "In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."

These verses reflect the prayer's themes of gratitude, protection, wisdom, healing, and glorifying God through faith in Jesus Christ; may they bless you and return to you filled with love, mercy, and all the grace of Yahushua! In Yahushua Name I pray, Amen + Amen!
